Agreement and eligibility
By using Platform 23, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. The service is intended for people aged 16 or older. If you cannot enter a binding agreement in your location, use the app with an authorized guardian’s consent where permitted.
What the app provides
Platform 23 is a single-user English learning tool with five travel chapters, structured language practice, labeled examples, optional photo/OCR tools, optional recording and playback, and a local journal. Version 1.0.0 has no account, paid content, subscription, advertising or cloud synchronization. It is a practice tool and does not provide professional certification.
Learning limitations
Keyword checks compare confirmed input with explicit practice requirements. They are not pronunciation, accent, personality, politeness, safety or comprehensive semantic evaluations. Open-ended work uses your own self-review. OCR may be incomplete or incorrect; confirm its output. System speech may vary by installed voice. Labeled examples are teaching materials, not measurements of your performance.
Travel and safety
Do not rely on the app for live train schedules, travel authorization, allergy or food safety, emergency response, legal or medical advice. Ask staff about ingredients and cross-contact; avoid an item if uncertain. Use local emergency services in a real emergency. Use fictional identity details in practice. Follow local laws and do not record or photograph people or private materials without appropriate permission.
Your content and controls
You retain your rights in your photos, recordings and writing. You are responsible for the rights and consents needed to capture, import and share them. We do not receive a license to publish your local content because the app does not upload it to us. You may export records through the system share sheet or delete them through the app. Confirm your export destinations and protect copies you create.
App license and acceptable use
We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to use the app for lawful learning on compatible devices, subject to applicable Apple terms. You may not unlawfully distribute protected app content, attempt unauthorized access to services or use the app to infringe others’ rights. This does not restrict rights granted by applicable law or licenses of separately identified components.
Availability and data responsibility
The app is designed for offline practice. Public policy pages require a network connection, with local fallback copies provided. Hardware access, installed voices and operating-system services depend on your device and permissions. Keep exports or device backups if records matter to you. Deletion is permanent within the app and may not remove independent exports or backups controlled by you or third parties.
Intellectual property
The app’s original interface, learning text and illustrations are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Apple and Cloudflare names identify their respective services and do not imply endorsement. User-provided content remains the user’s responsibility.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, particular learning outcomes or error-free recognition. We are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on practice material as real-world safety advice, or by destinations you independently choose for exports. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and updates
You may stop using the app and remove it at any time. Updates may change the app and these terms. The updated date will identify changes. Mandatory law and Apple platform terms continue to apply. No specific governing-law jurisdiction is designated in these terms; applicable mandatory protections remain in force.
