Privacy Policy

Who we are
Platform 23 provides offline English practice for travelers. In this policy, “we” means the operator of Platform 23. This policy applies to version 1.0.0 and the accompanying support website.
Information you choose to create
The app stores your chapter progress, exercise answers, source text, confirmed written replies, reflections, record names, settings, timestamps and whether you viewed an example. If you choose to use media tools, it also stores your selected or captured photos and practice audio recordings. Do not include passport details, payment information, sensitive health details or other people’s private information in practice materials.
Local processing and storage
Learning records and attachments are stored in the app’s private storage on your iPhone. English text recognition uses Apple Vision on the device. Recording and playback use Apple audio frameworks. The app does not use cloud speech transcription or a generative AI service. Built-in prompts may use your installed English system voice. There is no account, cloud sync, advertising, behavioral analytics or third-party tracking SDK. We do not receive your exercise answers, photos or recordings through the app.
Camera, microphone and photos
Camera access is requested when you choose to scan a sign or menu. Microphone access is requested when you choose to record a practice reply. The system photo picker gives access only to the images you select. You can deny permissions, later revoke them in iPhone Settings, and use typed input or clearly labeled samples instead. We do not request location access. Image imports are rendered to remove embedded metadata before storage.
Network requests and this website
Core lessons, unfinished work, OCR and saved media work offline. Opening Privacy, Terms or Support in the app loads the public page from Cloudflare over HTTPS, with a bundled offline fallback. Cloudflare may process standard connection information, such as IP address, request URL, time, browser or device information, for delivery and security. We do not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts or application cookies. Cloudflare’s processing is described at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ . Internet service providers and operating-system services act under their own policies.
Sharing and device backups
Export occurs only when you choose Export or the system share sheet. Exports may contain private photos, voice and written replies. The destination you select controls its own handling. Your iPhone’s backup configuration may include app documents in Apple device backups. Manage backups through your device and Apple account settings. We do not operate a separate backup service.
Purpose and retention
We use local records to resume chapters, show your journal and replay your evidence. Records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app, subject to your device backup settings. The app has no operator-held remote learning-data retention period. Cloudflare’s service logging and retention are governed by its applicable terms and policy.
Your choices and rights
You can inspect and rename journal records, correct evidence while practicing, export your data, delete an individual record with its linked media, or use Settings → Delete my data to remove the local journal and attachments. Revoke camera and microphone permissions in iPhone Settings. Privacy rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, depending on your location. Because we do not hold your local learning files, use the in-app controls to act on them. Contact support for questions about website requests or this policy.
Security and international access
App sandboxing and your device protections help restrict access to local files. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Protect your device and review exports before sharing them. Public policy pages are served through Cloudflare’s global network; request information may be processed outside your region under the provider’s safeguards.
Age and changes
The learning experience is intended for people aged 16 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. If you believe personal information was sent to support in error, contact us. Material changes will be reflected in the updated policy date and, where appropriate, within the app.
Contact
For privacy questions, use the support page or email platform23@support.com. This address is the release-preparation contact and must be verified by the operator before App Store submission.
