Welcome aboard
Platform 23 helps you practice practical English conversations with Nora and Leo. You can complete the five chapters offline and keep evidence in your own words. No account or purchase is needed.
How to practice
Open Journey, choose a chapter, inspect the clue and try the exercise. Use Hint or Review example if needed. Correct your answer after feedback. Capture or type a source clue, record or type your reply, complete the self-review and add a reflection. Saving succeeds only when the local journal has been written. View or resume records under Radio → My learning journal.
Camera and image help
Tap Camera only when you want a new picture. If access is denied or the camera is unavailable, use Import, a labeled sample or manual text. Import uses the system photo picker. Use Crop to keep the central square or use camera editing to remove private details. OCR is local and requires your confirmation; correct mistakes in Confirmed source text. A labeled sample is never presented as your photograph.
Recording and playback help
Tap Record, allow microphone access if desired, then Stop within 30 seconds. Record at least one second. Listen back before self-review. A possible silent take is flagged; re-record if needed. Calls, backgrounding or a disconnected input may stop recording. Captured audio is kept for review when possible. Typed replies remain available when audio is unavailable. A new take replaces the active unfinished work’s link only after it is ready; saved records keep their original attachment.
unfinished work, saving and missing files
Leaving a chapter offers Keep unfinished work or Stay. Continue a unfinished work from Journey or Radio. If saving fails, your input stays in the current session; free device space and retry before closing. If an attachment is missing, written evidence is still readable. The app cannot restore media removed outside its storage. Export records you want to keep.
Export and deletion
Settings → Export my data prepares an English JSON manifest plus available attachments for the system share sheet. Individual records can also be exported. Exports contain private photos, recordings and writing; review the destination. Delete a record from Record details or use Settings → Delete my data to remove local journal data, media and progress. Independent exports and Apple backups must be managed separately.
Accessibility and audio
All exercises support tapping and text entry. VoiceOver labels identify controls. Increase text size in iPhone Settings. Use the Audio prompts and Reduce motion controls in the app. If a spoken prompt is silent, check device volume, mute settings, Audio prompts and installed English voices. The written prompt is always available.
Contact support
Email platform23@support.com with the app version, iPhone/iOS version, what you expected and the steps that led to the issue. Do not email passports, payment details, private photos or voice recordings unless you deliberately choose to share them and have the necessary rights. This is a release-preparation address awaiting operator verification; no response-time promise is made.
Privacy and urgent situations
See Privacy Policy for local data handling and Cloudflare website delivery. Platform 23 is not an emergency service or a food-allergy safety checker. In a real emergency use local emergency services. For a privacy request, mention the request type without sending sensitive learning files.
